You may sign up for web space while signing up for OSUWeb.net as your internet service provider, or at any time after you have become one of our customers.* If you do not request web space during your sign-up process, you may request your personal web space by simply sending an e-mail request to the Webmaster at webmaster@units.ohio-state.edu (put the words new user web space in as the subject). She will create your webspace and send you an e-mail once it is ready for you to begin transferring.

The e-mail will contain the information you need to begin transferring your files into your web space, including your web space user name (which will be the first eight characters of your OSUWeb.net username).

*Customers using our Buck95 plan are not eligible for personal web space.

Note: Your usage is restricted to uploading and deleting files in your web space; no downloading.

Below is the procedure for connecting to your website using WS_FTP LE, which is available for free through the software to go pages for OSU's Office of Information Technology. (The procedure will be similar for other FTP programs.)
